XXIII BOCAINA INTERNATIONAL JOURNEY

The Bocaina Playa Blanca – Corralejo Crossing is one of the great open water swimming challenges in the Canary Islands. It connects the town of Playa Blanca , in Lanzarote, with Corralejo , in Fuerteventura, crossing the Bocaina Strait in a journey of approximately 15 kilometers in open water.

The race takes place in a stunning natural setting, with pristine Atlantic waters and the silhouette of Isla de Lobos accompanying the course. The currents, wind, and ever-changing ocean conditions make each edition a unique and challenging experience.

More than a competition, the Bocaina represents a challenge of personal growth and respect for the sea. Swimmers from different countries face the crossing driven by their preparation, strategy, and sportsmanship.

The arrival in Corralejo symbolizes the culmination of a legendary journey between two islands, where effort, nature and emotion come together to offer an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Atlantic.

Papagayo Beaches Crossing DREAMS Lanzarote Playa Dorada + SUP RACE

After a decade of editions, fulfilling the project, “Emmax-Playa Honda Crossing”, and standing out as an event of interest for athletes who love swimming in the sea, with the inclusion of several distances 5K/1,200M/800M/400M/50-100M /3X200M Relays with a sea environment between Arrecife and Playa Honda, managing to identify itself as an integrated event within the Canary Islands Open Water calendar.

It has become an attraction for participants to come to an exclusive open water swimming venue in the Canary Islands, due to its surroundings, as the crystal clear waters from the capital Arrecife to Playa Honda allow the enjoyment of its rocky and sandy seabeds, and the passage of the race route through heritage sites such as the starting point of the foot crossing of the Las Bolas bridge.

EMMAX CROSSING - HONDA BEACH

In an enclave of crystal-clear waters, a bay swimming event has been organized for more than a decade in the town of Playa Blanca in the southern part of the island of Lanzarote, with popular distances and others.

Attracting greater interest to athletes, with the inclusion of the spectacular natural landscape of the Papagayo Beaches coast, with the routes of the long distance modalities that provide the enjoyment of discovering by swimming the different coves of yellow sand of the Papagayo coasts.

A unique open water swimming event, combined with the stunning scenery and the exclusive opportunity for swimmers to pass over the underwater sculptures of the Atlantic Museum, has made it a one-of-a-kind sporting challenge in Europe. Participants enjoy an active weekend with friends or family and discover one of Spain's finest beaches.

CHRISTMAS RACE - PUERTO DEL CARMEN

The Christmas Race is held every year in Puerto del Carmen as one of the most prominent sporting events of the festive season. It brings together runners of all ages who participate in a cheerful, family-friendly atmosphere, many of them wearing Christmas costumes and accessories that fill the streets with color and enthusiasm. The route, close to the sea, allows participants to enjoy the pleasant weather while experiencing a sporting event accessible to all levels.

Beyond the competition, the event stands out for its charitable nature and its importance within Lanzarote 's festive calendar. Part of the proceeds are usually donated to charity, reinforcing the values of unity and generosity characteristic of this time of year. Thus, the race has become a well-established tradition that combines sport, community, and Christmas spirit.
